What do i need to put videos on the web?

What kind of equipment do i need to make a stupid home video for utube or something like that? Don't be a jerk when answering! I am serious.

2. Well, the previous answer is pretty much right. You need a camcorder. You also need a way to get the video onto your computer. Depending on the camcorder you buy, it could be as simple as burning your video straight to a DVD in the camcorder itself, or plugging the camera into your PC via a USB cable, or more complicated, requiring a video breakout box that would import the video from your camcorder. If you want to edit your video, you could use Windows Movie Maker, which comes with Windows, or iMovie, which comes with Mac. Or you could invest in an editing program such as Adobe Premiere Elements or ULead Video Studio. That would pretty much do it.
