How funny is it that on TV they do signing for music video clips now ......?

You couldnt make it up, but on one of the music channels they have this guy in the bottom right of the screen and he is signing the words while bopping along to it. How completely unneccessary as well as funny at the same time. I hope its not the license payer who is paying for this though. Someone signing the words to deaf people watching a music channel? WTF?

1. Why not, deaf people can feel the music through vibrations so why shouldn't they know the words as well?
2. deaf kids like to hang out and do stuff hearing kids do, seems a shame to exclude them from a 'yoof' show just because they can't hear what's going on, I used to live behind a deaf centre and they seemed to be really into their bass, must feel it through their bodies?
3. You are quite a sad person stating that its completely unnecessary and funny. Try living a day without hearing and you will then realise what you are missing. I am fortunate to have my hearing but know people who do not and I am sure they would quite willingly swap places with you tomorrow given half the chance.
4. i know what you mean they mostly the channels on Sky and why is it that when you get Metal or RnB its usually signed by someone who looks like your nan, its funny seeing them dance and sign to thrash metal...lol,
