why are people who are called sweet or sensitive considered dumb or innocent? i hate it. i am called sweet and sensitive all the time and i sometimes feel like it gives people the wrong impression that i am naive, simple, innocent, or dumb. yes, i do wear my heart on my sleeve, but i am actually at least somewhat intelligent. at work or with people who know me casually, they always kind of chuckle when they see me, like im just like this flaky, innocent girl and that it so not true. it makes me feel like they just think im like some quirky but nice character. i am a bit too trusting sometimes, but that is it and there is alot more going on than that.

The dumb things that the aforementioned philosophers said have nothing to do with the person hearing them. Intelligent modern-day philosophers of unquestionable intelligence have confirmed that Hume, Kant and Schopenhauer were mistaken in many of their works and that they made many nonsensical assertions. Stephen Hawkins made wild speculative arguments about black holes which he had to retract after he found serious blunders in his work. Why didn't he catch the mistakes earlier? By "dumb" I am using the common definition for the word, "conspicuously unintelligent or stupid." How does one go about proving that humans are intrinsically selfish or that all of our actions are motivated by selfishness? After the driveway was poured, the people were blocking the approach with numourus things like the city garbage cart, a weber grill, their cars, and a couple of plastic adrorondak chairs the first week.
