Why when i put the videos off my video camera they are in a weird format? I have a sony handycam HDR-CX100 Exmor. When i use the program that came with the dvd, it goes on my computer as a M2TS file. Some type of codec messed up my videos on computer, how can I fix this? I somehow got this weird video player on my computer recently that came with these weird things called codecs that would compress my media files (or something like that I don't really know.) My speakers are making a weird static/ crackling sound when i play music or videos.? This has been happening ever since my dad downloaded windows XP for my computer.
